ACS PRESENTS LUCASI HYBRID ALL AMERICAN TOUR RESULTS FROM Q’s SPORTS BAR & GIRL IN PORT CHARLOTTE, FL |
The forty-fifth stop on the 2010-2011 Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour (produced by the American CueSports Alliance – ACS) was featured in Port Charlotte, FL, on Saturday, April 9, at Q’s Sports Bar & Girl – hosting its annual Q’s Snowbird Open 8 Ball Tournament. The $240 added handicapped tournament attracted some of the better players in Southwest Florida on 7-foot bar boxes.
Winner’s side semi-finals showcased Tim Barron (Sarasota, FL) 4-3 over Ken Coulter (Punta Gorda, FL) and Master Player Jud Strang (Port Charlotte, FL) 6-2 over Garry Ball (Port Charlotte, FL). Winners side finals had Tim Barron 4-5 over Jud Strang. In the B-side quarter finals, Ken Coulter 4-1 took out Wayne Agnew (Venice, FL) and Skyler Banfill (Bradenton, FL) 4-1 eliminated Gary Ball. The B-side semis had Ken Coulter 4-3 over Skyler Banfill. Finals Jud Strang then forfeited to Ken Coulter, giving Coulter a shot at undefeated Tim Barron in the tourney finals. Action proved fierce in the finals, as had Ken Coulter bested Tim Barron 4-3 in the first set and Tim Barron reciprocated with a 4-3 decision in the final set for the title. By virtue of Albert Baker (Port Charlotte, FL) being the highest-finishing ACS member in the event, he qualified for a free 9-Ball singles entry into the 2011 Lucasi Hybrid ACS Nationals at the Tropicana Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.
